AfriStructure – A Digital Magazine

A brief summary of the upcoming digital publication by Gambeta News – AfriStructure

The name AfriStructure comes from the combination of Africa and Infrastructure. Like it’s name, the magazine will certainly focus on solving Africa’s Infrastructural problems by releasing quarterly issues that highlight successes recorded across the 54 African countries.

Our community of African enthusiast have also shown remarkable interest in a case study approach to addressing the infrastructural deficit. Africa also needs to spend over US$100 billion yearly on it’s infrastructure to be comparable with other regions.

This kind of investment is near impossible, therefore, we must start thinking of other possible strategies to addressing the issue. More money would not solve Africa’s problems, because we have not addressed the following issues that impede development;

1. Corruption,
2. Financing,
3. Government policies,
4. Lack of skilled manpower,
5. Bad leadership,
6. Traditional believes, and
7. Low community involvement.
