Egypt’s President visits to Paris ends today
Egypt’s Sisi on a three-day visit to Paris
On Monday (October 23) Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi was welcomed to Paris by French Defense Minister Florence Parly for a three-day visit to France.
After the meeting with the French Defence Minister, Al Sissi on Tuesday met with French President Emmanuel Macron at the Elysee palace, who was cognizant of the criticism of France’s policy on Egypt, and raised his concerns over human rights.
The two countries, held discussions on economic and military cooperation in the fight against terrorism, they also discussed Syria and Iraq.
This visit is the third since Al Sisi took over office in 2014, but it is the first since Macron was elected president.
