Fairground road construction set to kick-off after ground-breaking ceremony in Liberia

The construction of Buchanan Fairground Road is set to kick-off after ground-breaking ceremony. Meanwhile, the road construction worth  US$1.2 million will target the Fairground route in Buchanan, Grand Bassa County.

The road construction will help pave other roads in Grand Bassa County to provide easy access for the movement of people in the county. This is vital because, it will help ease the road traffic and improve the nature of the area.

County’s District, Representative Mathew Joe said “During the 2017 elections, I made a promise to the people of my district. He also said those who did not, believe me, argued that it was impossible to accomplish this project.”

The lawmaker also made a statement that 85% of this campaign promises has been finalise. This promise include the establishment of a District Development Council and the soon to be Buchanan Fairground Road.

Vice President, Jewel Howard Taylor commend the lawmaker for their effort towards this project. He said that they are following in the footstep of President Weah towards having easy access for movement of goods and people.

Meanwhile, Public Work Minister Mobutu Nyenpan was satisfy with the level of commitment for the lawmaker. He also said that the US$ 1.2m Fairground road will help the community.

We all know that development is key for any country especially a developing one. This project is part of the President plans to elevate the nation and make its citizen feel right at home in their own back yard. According to AfriStructrure Magazine , Africa need development because it is one of the means towards bridging the gap of poor infrastructure which has been disturbing the continent of ours.
