CONSTRUCTION MINISTER EVALUATE HIGHWAY REHABILITATION IN ANGOLA

Rehabilitation works of the National Road Number 120 in progress after Evaluation by Minister

The rehabilitation works of National Road Number 120 got an evaluation from the Minister of construction. The Minister during a tour, evaluate the Highway which will connect Alto Dondo (Cuanza Norte) / Uaco Cungo (Cuanza Sul).

Cabinet Minister Manuel Tavares de Almeida said “The section of the EN 120 is well ahead in development. He also said that the quality of work will be check at the laboratory of the Engineer of Angola.”

The highway will have to go through laboratory check before it can be open to the public. Meanwhile, Alto Dondo / Munenga bypass which is 90 kilometers to Quibala and Quibala / Uaco Cungo is almost complete. The bypass has over 77 kilometers complete already.

Chinese companies “C.R.B.C and Sinomoch are in charge of the rehabilitation works of the National Road Number 120. The project will kick-off in 2016 and is schedule to finish in march 2019 with a budget of around US$100 million.
