STEEL PRODUCTION PLANT UNDER CONSTRUCTION IN LIBERIA

Steel Production Plant construction set to provide job opportunities especially to Montserrado County Electoral District 12 in liberia.

The steel production plant currently undergoing in Liberia is set to provide job opportunities for some of the residents. The plant is being construct by Chinese construction company Qinggle. Over 1000 liberians, particularly those residing in Montserrado County Electoral District 12 are to benefit from the project.

The mass production of steel rods will eventually reduce price of the commodity on the local market. The plant will Meanwhile provide high-quality steel products. It will services to meet demand on the Liberian market and in the West African sub-region.

Sethi Brothers Limited CEO, Paul Sethi said that “The construction of the factory is based on request from the past Liberian government. He also said that it will boost the country’s industrial sector. He also assured the resident that they will benefit from several other corporate social responsibilities.”

Dr George Beyan Samah who is the District 12 Representative has assured the residents of his unbending commitment to work with development partners and transform the district.

Community’s chairperson, Henry Wokolo said ”The construction of the plant in his district means it will benefits individuals. He also said that they must ownership of the project by working with the Sethi Brothers to achieve its objectives.”

The project will cost over US$22 million.
