US $16M GOLDEN LIFE MALL TO BE CONSTRUCTED IN KENYA

Golden life mall set to kick-off in kenya through the egerton university benefit scheme in Nakuru town.

The construction of the mall is set to be construct in Nakuru town northwest of Nairobi. The construction is been finance through the Egerton University Retirement Benefits Scheme. The project will be finish in two years time according to report.

Nakuru Governor Lee Kinyanjui said “We will market the mall as part of the landmark buildings in the town. He said it will attract diverse investors, including those passing through the area.”

The aim of the project will be to increase income flow for the university’s scheme as it will be located in the busy part of the town. The development is important as Nakuru County seeks to acquire city status.

The governor made the statement during the ground-breaking ceremony of the mall construction. He ask investor to invest more in the sector due to the high  demand for affordable home. He also highlighted that it could provide more needed revenue streams for the funding of the project.

Vice Chancellor of Egerton University, Prof Rose Mwonya  said that the mega project dubbed ‘Golden life mall’ will be complete in two year time after construction work commence.

The county governor has ask for the investor to invest more in the housing sector due to the high demand for affordable homes.
