4th Industrial revolution set to reduce 75 millions jobs according to Minister Talaat
Egypt Minister for Communication and Technology has announced that over a millions jobs will not survive the 4th industrial revolution. This statement was made during the inauguration of new technology projects in Sohag governorate.
Minister for communication and technology, Amr Talaat said they plan to establish technological complexes in different part of the nation. Such areas includes, Menoufia, Mansoura, Minya, Sohag, South Valley, Qena, and Aswan universities in cooperation with the Ministry of Higher Education.
According to Talaat, the 4th Industrial Revolution will create some challenges but he is of the opinion that such lost job will be replaced by far more important ones. However, he urge the youth to acquire the skills necessary for this transformation.
Talat during his speech said that the digital transformation of Egypt is the responsibility of everyone in the country. He further called upon students to continuously learn and gain new skills. As it will help keep pace with today’s rapidly changing labour market.
