Qualifications:

* Master’s degree in a related field of expertise preferred, or a Bachelor’s Degree with at least seven (7) years of technically relevant experience;

* A minimum of seven (7) years of work experience in the field of interest (production, post-harvest handling, processing, marketing, business development, capacity building, M&E, financial management, grants, etc.)

* At least five years’ experience preferred working on agricultural production or value chain development projects funded by USAID or by other major donors;

* Professional, relevant experience in Uganda is essential, regional experience outside Uganda is also highly preferred;

* Private sector experience is strongly preferred;

* Excellent oral and written communication skills and presentation skills, fluency in English (reading, speaking, writing); and Local Ugandan language skills essential.
