ALGERIA TO BUILD 1450 MW COMBINED CYCLE PLANT

Algeria set to build 1450 MW cycle plant that will help improve the nation energy sector.

The construction of a cycle plant which will produce 1450 MW is going on in Algeria. The project which will also help strengthen the power output in the country as well as help diversify energy. According to report, the project was given to keller Group which will carry out ground work  on the project.

Keller Group will meanwhile be in charge of producing a working platform of about 90,000 m³. It will also install 260,000 metres of stone columns to mitigate liquefaction and 47,500 metres of bored piles as foundation support.

President, Europe Middle East and Africa division, Thorsten Holl said “The award recognizes our capacity. He also said that it will help the area.

Completion of the combined cycle power plant project is set for first quarter of 2019.
