AMAZING STORY OF A WHATSAPP GROUP THAT BUILD A HOME FOR KENYA SINGER
It bring great joy when a group of individuals will come together and support the needed. This can be witnessed in Kenya as a whatsapp group of over 200 members built and furnished a building for Kenya’s legendary benga artiste Wilson Omutere.
Mr Omutere and thousands of families has been having accommodation problem after they were displaced from their homes by the torrential rains.
His home was destroyed when River Yala broke its banks. This raging water from the river flooded his compound as well as destroyed crops and property, forcing him to relocate his family to a neighbour’s home.
The new building which is worth Sh1.8m will be completed in December this year. Meanwhile the three-bed roomed house will have two toilets, kitchen, dining room, a store and kitchen with a spacious sitting room.
