BASF OPENS NEW CHEMICAL OFFICE IN TANZANIA

Chemical firm BASF open new office in Tanzania as part of its Africa growth strategy.

The chemical firm BASF has open a new office in Tanzania. The office will help offer highly customize sales and technical support to their customers. It will also increase the company business activities in Tanzania as well as fostering more partnership and business growth.

BASF Vice President for Africa, Michael Gotsche said “Our presence in Tanzania will enable us to respond to challenges arising from the competitive conditions in the market. He also said it will enable them reach more customers.”

The move is in line with the company Africa growth strategy. Its strategy will also involve investing in local presence and local production. It will also help the customers enhancing the reach to BASF innovative solutions & products.

BASF Tanzania’s Managing Director, Mats Idvall said ”Tanzania represents a commercial and industrial hub for businesses thanks to its vibrant and stable economy. He also said the new office confirm BASF’s commitment to growing the business in this important and strategic market.”

The firm also has plan to open a new office in Zambia, Ivory Coast and Kenya.
