BRIEF EXPLANATION OF ENVIRONMENTAL ENGINEERING

Concept Of Environmental Engineering

Environmental engineering system is the branch of engineering concerned with the application of scientific and engineering principles for human protection. It has an effects of adverse environmental factors such as protection of environments, both local and global. It also has the potential to deleterious effects  natural and human activities while also improving environmental quality.

Environmental engineering system can also be described as a branch of applied science and technology that solves the problem of energy preservation, and control of waste from human and animal activities. Furthermore, it is concerned with finding solutions in the field of public health, such as waterborne diseases, implementing laws which will guide adequate sanitation in urban, rural and recreational areas. It involves waste water management, air pollution control, recycling, waste disposal, environmental sustainability, public health and environmental engineering law. It also includes studies on the environmental impact of proposed construction projects.

Environmental engineers system study the effect of technological advances on the environment. In other to get this results, they conduct studies on hazardous-waste management of both aquatic and land environment. Environmental engineers design municipal waste water supply and industrial waste treatment systems. They address local and worldwide environmental issues such as the effects of acid rain, global warming, ozone depletion, water pollution and air pollution from automobile exhaust and industrial sources.
