Job Purpose

The Commercial Manager is a key member of the hospital’s Business Development team whose primary role is responsibility for all sales and commercial related activities. With strong emphasis on HMOs.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Identify new commercial opportunities to add value and increase company growth
  • Analyze sales and other reports that give insight into ways to improve performance
  • Coordinate commercial relationship, initiate new liaison, manage and resolve contract and other issues as they arise with
  • Health Maintenance organizations
  • Governmental and non – governmental organizations
  • Corporate and private clients’ accounts and International accounts
  • Clinical referral network
  • Develops in-depth, detailed analysis and reports on target organizations, identifying their needs, as well as defining adequate healthcare service proposals, fee schedules, and contract/agreement drafts
  • Maximizes the productivity of signed agreements by continuously monitoring customer’s needs and use of our services, by working with client to accelerate patient access and use of our facilities, and by detecting service failures and patient complaints to  follow up for immediate redressing
  • Maintains systematic records of Customer Relations Management as per company standards, reporting and acting on client & customer exceptions, opportunities, risks, and contingencies as per policy and guidelines
  • Protects Organization by keeping information confidential
  • Works closely with Business development team to support programs and initiatives with specific focus on adding business value in the long term
  • Develop detailed plans for expansion and business development as per Business Development Director guidelines, proposing specific performance and business growth targets
  • Assists in recruitment, training, mentoring and supervision of commercial executives
  • Assess risks and make recommendations for mitigation

Qualification

  • Degree in Business or similar/related qualification
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in Commercial / Business Development at middle management level in the local market
  • Strong negotiation and management skills
  • Excellent analytical and research skills
  • Possess presentation, written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organized and disciplined to maintain detailed records and programs
  • A impeccable appearance and presentation, as well as charisma and professional reputation to adequately represent Evercare brand, mission, and vision.

Preferred:

  • Strong networks in the healthcare market.
  • Prior experience working in a leading HMO as a Commercial Manager
  • Demonstrated track of sales growth
