CONSTRUCTION OF AFRICA’S TALLEST BUILDING KICKS OFF IN KENYA.

The construction of the tallest building in Africa commenced in Nairobi.

The construction of Africa’s tallest building has commenced in Kenya. The project kicked off after the President of Kenya laid the foundation stone recently.

The 70-floor mixed-use twin tower development dubbed Pinnacle Towers is located in Nairobi’s Upper-hill area and will cost US$ 194m for it to be complete.

It will be made of 45 floor, Hilton hotel developed by Hass Petroleum and White lotus Group and at 900 feet. Hence, the building will have the highest viewing deck in Africa.

The building will contain 200 residential houses including one bedroom, two bedroom, and three bedroom fully furnished apartments. Also the top tower will have helipad, so people can fly directly there and avoid traffic. This  is also going to be one of the highest helipad in the continent at over 800 feet.

The project has consumed US$14m so far for the foundation and preparation stage. While the remaining part of the fund will be through equity and debt.

On completion of this project, the building will b among the tallest in the world with Dubai’s Burj Khalifa and Malayasia’s Petronas Tower.
