DANGOTE OPENS MEGA CEMENT WAREHOUSE IN SOUTHERN NIGERIA
Dangote inaugurates Mega cement warehouse in Southern Nigeria
The Dangote Group recently opened a mega cement warehouse at the Industrial Layout, Onitsha Road, Owerri, capital of Imo State. The warehouse is to serve corporate entities and the people of the Southeast and other zones in the country.
Persons present at the opening ceremony included; President of Dangote Group, Aliko Dangote, Imo state Governor, Rochas Okorocha, and also other captains in the industry.
While declaring the warehouse open, Rochas applauded Dangote for his initiative in empowering Nigerians and other nationals. Especially through employment in his many industries and foundations.
The Governor also enjoined Dangote to collaborate with the government in establishing a gas plant in the state. Expressing his joy, Rochas described Dangote as a bridge-builder and said the presence of Dangote is now in Imo state.
In response, Aliko Dangote said Imo state is one of the major markets of Dangote Cement and other products of the Dangote Group.
He stressed that he was in the state essentially to open the cement warehouse for business, and commended Okorocha for facilitating infrastructural development in the state and Nigeria at large, including creating enabling environment for businesses to thrive.
