ERITREA AND RUSSIA SET TO INCREASE IT’S RELATIONSHIP WITH LOGISTIC CENTRE

Eritrea set to agree deal with Russia for building a logistic centre port.

Eritrea is making plans with Russia to build a logistic centre. The plans is part of Russia way of entering the Africa Market. It will also make the relationship of the both nation to be strong. Meanwhile the diplomatic development is an important milestone for both countries, each of whom has sought to expand its bilateral ties.

Russia Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov disclose the plans at a meeting with a high-level delegation from Eritrea. The meeting further discuss on the propose logistic centre but no scope, location and timeline of the project was announce.

The deal will help Russia to forge alliances with countries in Africa. They have already sign a military cooperation agreement with the Central African Republic. This deal will make them help training armed forces in the CAR.

Eritrea will be happy with the deal after decades of isolation from other countries. Meanwhile if Russia follow through with its plans, it won’t be the first time a foreign player has set up shop in Eritrea.
