ETHIOPIA’s FIRST CONSTRUCTION SYMPOSIUM VERY CRUCIAL TO SOLVING PROBLEM

Ethiopia’s  first construction symposium brought about new technologies and ways to tackle the sector.

The first construction symposium in Ethiopia has been hail as crucial for the sector.  It has also help create a platform where construction expert can sit and discuss the country various challenges in the sector.

Ethiopia’s Construction Minister  Eng. Ayisha Mohammed said the Ministry would focus on gathering new insights on how to manage the construction sector challenges. She also said that it will be through undertaking various researches and symposiums.”

According to the minister, The Ministry has been gathering different researches dealing with construction industry development policies and strategies. This will help tackle the various problem affecting the sector.

During the meeting, she said that the construction sector requires competent human power than other sectors. It will also be undertaking successive and profound symposiums and researches in the sector  on a daily basis to intensify the sector roles.

Presenting a paper on the symposium Construction Expert Dr. Eng. Wondwossen Zhekale said that ethical code of conduct in client-consultant-contractor relationships and practices is the major governing principle of the sector.

The symposium is aim to promote new technologies and sustain the sector’s contribution in creating job for the nation.

During the symposium, seven outshined researches were recognized and acknowledged which will be turn into a project for the sector.
