FG APPROVE BELEMAOIL EXPORT TERMINAL IN RIVERS STATE

Federal Government has Approved the Establishment of Crude oil Export Terminal in Rivers State

Federal Government of Nigeria has approve the establishment of a Crude Oil Export Terminal. The establishment will be in Kula community of Rivers State, from an indigenous oil company, Belemaoil Producing Limited.  The approval is contain in a letter; which was  signed by Department of Petroleum Resources (DPR) Director, Mordecai Ladan.

The aim of the approval is to enable Belemaoil establish a floating storage and offloading vessel. This will operate as a Crude Oil Terminal which will be known as Belamaoil Terminal Kula.

In their responses, the Board and Management of Belemaoil Producing Limited thanked President Muhammadu Buhari for the approval of the project.

Meanwhile, the decision will also serve as a way to create opportunities to the Rivers youths for profitable employments. It will further help in the development of the Niger Delta region of the nation.

The Manager of External Relations of Belemaoil, Samuel Abel-Jumbo said “The approval is a good commitment by the President. This approval will ensure indigenous operators to be giving the right environment around the oil industry.”

The impending construction of the terminal will strengthen Belemaoil operation. It will also help in the advancement of their national wealth creation.

Abel-Jumbo further said, that the approval will also serve as way to improve the life of youths in Niger Delta and Nigeria in general.
