GOVERNOR OF MOMBASA ATTENDS PEACE BUILDING TRAINING
Governor of Mombasa, H.E Hassan Ali Joho engages with diplomats at a Conflict Resolution and Peace Building training in Mombasa.
A delegation of regional diplomats led by Amb. Simon Nabukwesi, from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs organised a training in Mombasa. The diplomats discussed the diplomatic ties of Kenya and other African countries. Further exploring how to strengthen trade ties through facilitating free flow of capital and labour within the region. It is important to note that this will help in promoting cohesion and enhance cultural exchanges among the member states.

About the Governor
The governor, who is an influential serial entrepreneur understands the importance of facilitating the free flow of capital and Labour. Governor Hassan Joho before his appointment as first governor of Mombasa County in 2013, commands respect as a business magnate. He is the founder of East African Terminals Limited – a shipping and logistics company, as well as Mombasa’s first garbage collection company – Prima Pest & Bins Limited. While he has stepped down from executive positions in these businesses, his wealth of experience continues to create an enable environment for businesses to prosper in Mombasa.
