The construction of an Integrated Security Command Centre for Konza Technopolis has officially begun. The ultra-modern Centre will form the welcome and entrance part of the technology hub, and will feature a police station, a security barrier, a fire station, and an emergency response unit. During the ground-breaking ceremony, Dr. Fred Matiang’l Cabinet Secretary, Ministry of Interior & Coordination of National Government – Kenya described the facility as a major milestone towards setting the policing standards in Kenya and the region.
Konza (Konza Technopolis ) is a key flagship project of Kenya’s Vision 2030 economic development portfolio. Konza will be a world-class city, powered by a thriving information, communications and technology (ICT) sector, superior reliable infrastructure and business friendly governance systems.
