GUNJUR MINI STADIUM CONSTRUCTION AT ADVANCE STAGE IN GAMBIA
In a bid to promote grassroot sport in Gambia, the nation is building a mini stadium to help young stars developed thier God given talents.
The project which is the construction of Gunjur mini stadium is sponsored by world’s football governing body FIFA and coordinated by The Gambia Football Federation (GFF).
So far, the work is at an advanced stage with leveling of the football pitch, perimeter fencing and block mauling already started.
Meanwhile, it is expected that grassing of the football pitch and construction of the pavilions will form the second phase of the project.
