Following it is the investors conference to be held on the 30th of this month. The investors will run the hospital for the first 30 years to make up for their cost and make profit after which the state will take over.

The hospital will take up 5 acres of land and will be able to access Mbagathi and Hospital road with a parking space for over 50 cars.

The tender is expected to be awarded by September 2021 immediately followed by construction.

The proposed KNH Private hospital is expected to replace KPCC (Kenyatta Prime Care Centre) , allowing the general hospital to expand its public wards to accommodate additional public patients.

It is also projected to be a specialized center of excellence to manage life-threatening chronic ‘lifestyle’ diseases. Services to be offered will include general practice, internal medicine, transplants, emergency medical services, obstetrics and gynecology, and psychiatry.

Additionally, the facility will offer research and medical training to colleges affiliated to KNH.
