KIAMBU MALL SET TO OPEN IN KENYA
US$ 8m Kiambu Mall to be completed and opened in December after reaching its final construction stage
Kiambu which is a town in Kiambu county having a population of 88,869 is about to have its first and largest shopping mall in the area. The Mall is expected to comprise of 5 floors which include Basement, Ground Floor, 1st Floor, 2nd Floor, 3rd Floor and a Rooftop.
Chairman of Mugaa Investment developer, Peter Burugu; ”The project was geared to serve interests of the community as opposed to only generating income and also targets poor orphans to enable them become useful citizens in future and participate in nation building.
The Mall which was originally schedule to open in August of this year was delayed during construction due to political uncertainty in the country that made shipping of construction materials to be slow, therefore making the opening ceremony to be reschedule to December 2017.
The Key features in the Mall are the state-of-the-art children’s playground, Food Court located on the 3rdLevel. Major amenities will include CCTV cameras to offer 24 hour surveillance, Electric Fence, Borehole, a Wi-Fi enabled environment, Standby Generator, Elevators, Escalators and Travellators, Ample Parking, Walkway Ramps.
