KOFORIDUA STADIUM CONSTRUCTION NEARS COMPLETION IN GHANA
Stadium construction is key when it comes to unearthing raw talents in the sporting world. That is why, it is truly a key infrastructural development that every nation MUST consider.
So far, the Koforidua Stadium located in Ghana is nearing completion which is a wonderful news for resident as only the installation of seats and rolling of tartan tracks is pending.
Once completed, the facility will have a standard FIFA pitch which can be used by Premier and Divisional One teams in the region.
The project is one of the 10-multi-purpose Sports Centres being constructed by the government with the remaining nine located at Wa, Navrongo, Yendi, Nyinahin, Dormaa Ahenkro, Dunkwa-On-Offin, Axim, Ho and Kaneshie.
It will boasts of FIFA standard pitches, eight-lane athletic oval, a 40-metre long jump runway with a take-off board, multi-purpose courts (tennis, volley, handball, etc), spectator stands – popular and VIP, hotel units, IT hubs, shops and restaurants.
