Rehabilitation Work to commence on Lagos-Badagry Expressway from Mazamaza to Okokomaiko this month
Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has guarantee Lagos residents that rehabilitation work would commence on Lagos-Badagory Expressway. This will be from Mazamaza to Okokomaiko this June, 2019.
Governor Sanwo-Olu, announce this during an inspection visit to Lagos-Badagory Expressway. However, talks are in progress with contractor to resume work on site. This will be after the finance are put in place according to the Governor.
According to the governor, “all the T’s and I’s will be done this week so as to move to site immediately. We will also ensure that we finalize all discussion with China Civil Engineering Construction Corporation (CCECC). ”

Mr Sanwo-Olu acknowledged the various infrastructures that is issued through the project including the rail line. But reveal on the heaps of refuse littering the area in Lagos. This makes it difficult to appreciate what had been done so far.
He further said, that it would be a major task to clear the refuse, so work would commence immediately to restore orderliness to the area.
Lastly, the governor reveal that government would partner with the Federal Government. This is to find the last solution to the deplorable state of the Okokomaiko, through Agbara to Seme Border axis of the Lagos-Badagry Expressway.
