Colourful celebrations as Madagascar celebrates its 59th Independence Day Anniversary
President Paul Kagame of Rwanda also joined President Andry Rajoelina of Madagascar in celebrating the 59th Independence Day Anniversary.
Since gaining independence from France on June 26th, 1960, Madagascar continues to flourish. Interestingly, Madagascar is the world’s fourth largest island and is home to some rare creatures. More so, the beautiful French speaking island is approximately 400 km off the coast of East Africa.
Today’s celebrations at the Municipal Stadium in Antananarivo proves the level of development on this island nation. Watch the Youtube live feeds.
