Kamuzu International Airport get new terminals to help reduce congestion.
Kamuzu International Airport in Malawi now has a new phase after the completion of a three new terminal buildings. The project is part of expansion plan by the government of Japan towards helping malawi.
The first phase comprise of an all new international arrival wing, passenger departure wing and a domestic terminal building. This will help reduce the congestion faced by passenger boarding the airplanes.
Acting Director of Department of Civil Aviation, James Chakwera said ”This should be able to put malawi at par as what is obtainable elsewhere. He said it will help provide more facilities for the number of passengers.”

CEO of Malawi’s Airport Development Limited (ADL), Roda Gomani Misomali said ”It will change a lot of things like processing more passengers. She said they will be able to process 500 travellers in an hour which has not been the case.”
According to her, time will be reduce upon arrival by passengers into the nation.
