NAMIBIA SET TO BUILD 300 HOUSES AT ROCKY CREST
Namibia Government set to build 300 houses at the state capital.
Namibia government is set to build 300 houses in the state capital. It will also include the servicing of plots and the construction of 300 houses on 37 hectares of land. The project is a partnership between some many business firm along side the city councils.
Windhoek mayor Muesee Kazapua said “This partnership will therefore ensure that 300 serviced urban plots are made available. He also said it will be sold to the residents through an expression of interest arrangement.”
The demand for land in the area is overwhelming which is making the council finding it hard to solve. The project was assign to a contractor that has been on site for two months now.
Ndapewa Paulus of Windhoek Civil Engineers (WCE), said “Part of the tender and construction agreement is that at least 33% of the work. He also said that it will be given to SME sub-contractors.”
The completion date for the entire project is June 2020.
