NATIONAL HIGHWAY ROAD REPAIR SET TO RESTART IN ANGOLA

Angola National Highway road repair set to kick-off after plans was complete.

The repair work on National Highway Road (EN-180) which will link Lumbala – Nguimbo to the city of Luena has kick-off. It was originally abandon due to challenges encounter during the onset of the project. It took over a year but the project is set to restart.

The project will help benefit the people in the area. It will also help transform the transportation sector by making movement of people and good very fast and quick.

Provincial governor, Gonçalves Muandumba said ”Apart from this project, that they are looking to build a mini-hydro power plants. He also said the plant will supply electricity to the municipal headquarters of the Bundas (Lumbala Nguimbo) and the nearest communes.

Municipal Administrator of the Bundas, Benedita Irondina Pinto Luís said ”Interested entrepreneurs are welcome to visit the agricultural sector of the region. She also said municipality is potential in the cultivation of rice, onions, sweet potatoes, corn etc.”

The governor also inaugurate a school and two systems of capture, treatment and distribution of drinking water during his visit.
