The position of National Manager – Automotive Refinish has arisen within our SA Sales Division, based at Luipaardsvlei. This position will report to the General Manager SA Sales. Preference will be granted to Employment Equity candidates

Purpose

To develop and implement appropriate solutions in the form of value propositions to meet or exceed all sales goals, performance quotas and process expectations within the Automotive Refinish Coatings Industry and provide tactical and operational leadership and support to the sales team

Key Performance Areas
• Develop the Automotive Refinish sales strategy
• Execute the national Automotive sales strategy for South Africa
• Generate leads regarding prospective contract opportunities and drive deal closure
• Develop proposals, negotiate terms and conditions and implement contractual agreements
• Manage and monitor strategic target achievement
• Drive the implementation of the pricing strategy and practices
• Constantly analyze statistics regarding the number of sales made in a given time period, the resulting profits, and the need for new clients and products
• Drive the achievement of applicable strategic and operational targets
• Coordinate sales team promotional activities across SA

Skill, Knowledge and Experience 

Minimum of 10-12 years Sales related experience at a Senior Management Level
• In-depth Automotive Refinish Coatings experience & Knowledge
• Leadership and people skills (including high EQ)
• Negotiation and strong selling skills
• Scenario planning, strategic insight and problem solving skills
• Ability to identify, evaluate and address potentially volatile situations
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills including negotiation and influencing

Educational Qualifications & Personal Attributes

• Matric with a relevant bachelor degree
• Valid driver’s license
• Knowledge of the Automotive Refinish industry
