NATIONAL ROAD NO.11 RE-OPENS IN ALGERIA

The statement of the General Directorate of National Security stated that the opening of the road will be from Kosidar Bridge to Hamma Belouizdad. The opening of the road was done late around 4 pm yesterday. 

Last Thursday, the General Directorate of National Security announced the closure of the northern bypass road (National Road  No. 11) in both directions. This is at the level of the meeting point of the southern and northern bypass roads (Jisr Kosidar-Casablanca) to the seawater desalination plant (Hamma/Belouizdad). At a distance of 16 km, as well as all the ports leading to it.

The decision of the General Directorate of National Security also came, by the provisions of the decisions issued by the governor of the capital related to the closure and diversion of traffic. This is from the first of July until the sixth of the same month.

Meanwhile, the route of arrivals towards the capital was diverted from the east highway towards the southern bypass road, Casablanca-Ben Aknoun. And diverting the route of arrivals to Central Algiers from the eastern side of the capital, towards National Road No. 5, passing through the El Harrach transformer. Then the national road No. 8 leading to Hussein Dey and then to the southern bypass road.
