NEW WASTEWATER FACILITY OPENS IN MOROCCO

New wastewater treatment facility start in morocco to help serve the public.

A new wastewater facility is currently in operation in morocco. The new facility will cater for current and future development need in the nation. The treatment plant constructed by uk company biwater will help serve over 60,000 local residents and existing hotels. The plant is design with a total treatment capacity of 19 million litres per day (MLD).

Country Manager, Yassine Laib said “The water from the plant exceeds treatment quality standards. He said they will make sure it does not affect the surfers and swimmers on the beach.”

The project is a benchmark for the nation as it will provide a turnkey wastewater and reuse solution. It has been built in a beautiful town that has an impressive view. The town is next to prime surf spots in the country and it will provides reuse water for green planted areas, hotels and golf courses.

The town is a popular destination for tourists that want to experience the country. The project is design for a horizon of 2030.
