PRESIDENT WEAH TO MARKET LIBERIA TO GLOBAL INVESTORS

Liberia President to market his country to foreign investors.

Liberia president, George Weah will market his country to international investors at the the Africa CEO Forum. The Forum is an annual networking event that brings together 1,200 business leaders from Africa and across the globe.

Weah’s administration’s foreign policy, centers on international investment. His strategy focuses on improving the business climate, upgrading basic infrastructure. Also important is restructuring of health and education systems, and flagship measures for young people, especially through sport.

At the forum, he will share his strategies and policies with hundreds of business leaders, investors and decision-makers. Coupled with the expectations of Liberia’s young population, it provides strong motivation for President Weah to meet with investors at the Africa CEO Forum.

President George Weah is one of Africa’s youngest Presidents and will join the growing list of African presidents who have attended previous editions of the Forum.

Weah’s election is raising tremendous hopes for the country’s economic re-emergence.

The Africa CEO Forum is organized by Jeune Afrique Media Group, the publisher of Jeune Afrique and The Africa Report, and by rainbow unlimited, a Swiss company specialized in event organization and economic promotion.

The International Finance Corporation (IFC, part of the World Bank Group) will co-host the 2018 edition. The 2017 edition was a success, as it welcomed almost 1,200 business leaders from Africa and the world. The Forum is the main international event for the African private sector to discuss the continent’s development and also certainly for business networking.
