Project Engineer ICT

A proven track record of independently working in multidimensional services offered by an IT Department in a large organization, by selectively using in-house and external resources for delivery of services.

Services include:

Basic IT Services such as Email, F&P Services and shared data storage services.

Portfolio of Application Services that include:

Financial Applications, HR Applications, Inventory Management, Maintenance Management and other general purpose applications

Technical Applications: Production Reporting and Monitoring Applications in an Oil & Gas Environment, Sub Surface and Drilling Technical Applications

Telecom Services which include:

Voice and Data Services for all users spread across the country and in remote locations.

Radio, Voice and Data Services to remote Rig Operations.

Financial Background:

Experience in developing in year and multi year budgets for IT Operational Services.

Monitoring, managing and tracking of Expenses and developing Performance Management reports to ensure management visibility and keeping expenses on plan.

Knowledge of selection process of IT Service Providers through a tender process and ensuring high quality of services availability through a disciplined Vendor management process.

Experience in developing ITC CAPEX Plan, based on a Demand Management Process to develop a Projects Portfolio and gaining management approvals to execute the plan.

Technology Awareness:

Knowledgeable about current technologies in use by the ITC Department in providing services.

Aware of developing and emerging technologies and putting in a process for selection of new technologies for the future, to keep ITC Services aligned with leading edge technology over the years.

Must have worked in a multicultural environment and experienced in selecting and appointing highly qualified consultants to fill in experience and capability gaps in the organization.
