JOB DESCRIPTION

The role is responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely administration/completion of the risk analysis process in line with company policies and procedures.

The successful incumbent is a self-starter with a proven track record in maintaining company policy, adopting best practices, and is able to exercise sound judgement in the pursuit of the achievement of the goals of the organisation, and understanding the role which support plays within a successful business unit. The incumbent will be expected to be results driven and to live the values of the organisation.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITY:

Main Purpose of Position:

Supporting the Risk Department by acting as nodal point for the gathering, analysing, correlating, evaluating and distribution of security, investigation and intelligence related information from/to a variety of sources in a timely fashion.

Key performance areas:

Attack/Loss Incident Administration  & Database Management​

  • Manage all administrative processes that are required.
  • Complete timely reports on findings and recommendations and escalate to line management for review and dissemination.
  • Allocating cases to investigators.
  • Submission of IARs to Group (24/7/365 basis)
  • Ensuring FARs are submitted according to set timelines.
  • Maintenance of the IAR/FAR log.
  • Manage and maintain the incident database and data systems  in terms of the above.
  • Managing of the integrity of data structures, pointers and records.
  • Acquire, manage, analyse, and correlate data  from the database in order to evaluate risk and support of departmental functions and senior management.

Incident Reporting & Presentations

  • Prepare attack/loss statistical reports to senior management as required. Submit weekly, monthly and yearly reports to management as required.
  • Prepare presentations with regard to attack/loss statistics,  evolving loss trends, associated risks and preventative measures. Submit weekly, monthly and yearly reports to management as required.
  • Manage all finalised reports and ensure that reports are distributed correctly and on time.
  • Act as nodal point for any queries in terms of reports & presentations.

Support of Compliance & Intelligence Sections & Other Security Related Activities

  • Updating the database with Security Compliance Audits.
  • Database and administrative support to the Intelligence Section as required.
  • Administration & Coordinating site risk surveys and updating   the database with completed surveys.
  • Administration and coordination of stained note collections.
  • Coordination of CCTV footage requests by investigators from branches.
  • Administration and coordination of polygraphs requests.
  • Administration, printing and issuing of Cash Solutions ID cards.

General Administration of the Risk Department

  • Acting as nodal point for the general administration of the Security & Investigations Department.
  • Administration of the finances of the department.
  • Travel bookings and related administration of the Security Department.
  • Stationary requests

Health & Safety

  • Adhering to health & safety regulations in terms of the safety law.
  • Participate in safety forums created by the company, including safety meetings and safety talks.
  • Report safety incidents.
  • Discuss safety incidents on all levels.
  • Comply with safety policies and procedures at the workplace.
  • Distribute safety information as and when required.

 

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

Minimum Requirements:

  • Matric certificate
  • Computer literacy  – Google & Microsoft Office (Word; Excel; PowerPoint)
  • Basic Data analysis

Knowledge, skills and attributes:

  • Knowledge of the G4S Financial Management System, processes and procedures
  • Data base management  regarding suspected persons, incidents and procedures.
  • Able to present stats and related matters in MS Excel & PowerPoint
  • Able to work alone or co-operate closely with a team.
  • Ability keeping accurate records or reports
  • Able to understand and implement new technologies within the department
