SUDAN PM REVIEW PROGRESS ON RENAISSANCE DAM NEGOTIATION
After the agreement between Egypt, Sudan and Ethiopia, Sudan PM review details with negotiating team
Over the past couple of months, all three-nation involved in the Grand Ethiopian Renaissance Dam has been in a serious negotiation over the dam construction. After the agreement during the last meeting held in united states, Sudan government is now reviewing progress made during the deliberation.
Speaking with representatives that attended the negotiation, Prime Minister Dr Abdallah Hamdouk praised the great effort and work being exercised by the negotiating team.
Hamdouk declared that Sudan’s rights in waters of the Nile and its tributaries are preserved for the coming generations, thanks for experiences and huge efforts being exerted by its sons.
The meeting was held in the office of the prime minister with Foreign Minister Asmaa Mohamed Abdallah, Minister of Irrigation and Water Resources Professor Yasser Abbas Mohamed and members of the negotiating committee with its technical and legal components in attendance.
