Nigeria Government has announced its has secure fund for the nation power sector. The fund which is worth US$6 billion was made known by Minister of Power, Mr. Sale Mamman. UGANDA RECEIVES US$ 14m TO EXPAND ITS POWER SECTOR.

Uganda will expand its power sector with the US$ 14m loan from India. The loan would be extended to Kampala to build electricity transmission lines and substations. Kenya Power to install new transformers and repair old substations with the aim of improving supply. Kenya Power and Lighting company (KPLC) is investing US$15 million to enhance power supply in Kisumu.
