Zimbabwe kicks off the first project (Harare-Chirundu highway) to achieve the middle income economy vision. The first 6.5km of the 21km road from Makuti-Chirundu linking the Zimbabwe to Sadc, Comesa and East African states is presently ongoing. The project commissioned by President Mnangagwa will be financed by the US$21 million Japan grant.
