As school resume in South Africa, KwaZulu-Natal did not open as water shortage is seriously affecting the area. The fight against Covid-19 is vital for resumption of school but with lack of water, the region was unable to follow others. According to province’s Education MEC Kwazi Mshengu, over 6,000 schools were meant to resume but 100 of those did not due to water shortages.
