Hundreds of residents of Velwano in an area known as NU1 are suffering from unfinished building project. The project which was carried-out by Buffalo City Metropolitan Municipality did not finish as they failed to pay the developer, which resulted in the project been abandoned in 2017 with 43 houses still unfinished.
