Studied Mechanical Engineering in University of Lagos and graduated in Year 2000.

Started with MFA Partnership (a Mechanical and Electrical Engineering consulting firm) in Lagos in 2003 as a Project Engineer where he rose to the position of an Associate Partner.

He left MFA Partnership in 2013 and is presently with Building Services Design Consultants Limited in Lagos Nigeria as a Partner since 2014.
Some projects worked upon include,

 

  • Head Office Development for Zenith Bank Plc Victoria Island, Lagos.
  • Head Office Development for First City Monument Bank at Marina, Lagos
  • Eden Heights Apartments, Lagos

He enjoys reading, travelling and indulging a game of chess now and then. He believes the training of the young engineer is very important as the growth of the firm is largely dependent on the output of its employees.

 

YANKHO BANDA is currently employed as a Traffic and Transport Engineer at AMCE (Pty) Ltd. She holds a BSc (Eng) Civil Engineering from the University of Witwatersrand and has +7 years’ experience in the planning, design and implementation of transportation projects (roads, traffic and transport), one of which was the winner of the 2016 CESA Aon Engineering Excellence Award in the Category “Projects with a value of between R50 million and R250 million”. Yanko Banda is passionate about the development and retainment of young professionals for the sustainability of the profession hence her active involvement as a member of the Consulting Engineers South Africa (CESA) Young Professionals Forum (YPF) since 2012.
