Eterna Oil Launches Made-in-Nigeria Castrol Lubricants

Eterna Oil started discussions with Castrol in 2015, to include Automotive and Industrial range of Lubricants as part of its extended offer to the Nigerian market, and this year, 2017, Eterna Oil have been given license as the Authorized distributor of all Castrol Lubricants grades in Nigeria.

The license authorizes Eterna Oil and Gas Plc to produce and distribute lubricants for Nigerian market at its facility in Sagamu, Ogun state under the brand name Castrol Oil Lubricants.

The management of the company via  Mahmud Tukur, the Managing Director, assured Nigerian motorist that Castro oil lubricants will give their automobiles, enhanced protection, and reduced downtime.

According to Tukur; Their plant in Sagamu which have an installed capacity of 15,000MT per 8 hours shift, and can achieve 45,000Mt on 24 hours operation would provide job opportunities even for Small and Medium Enterprises (SME’s).

In his own words ; “We are also encouraging small entrepreneurs to set-up kiosks for selling lubricants. We will also be training mechanics to enhance their skills and deliver better service to their customers.”

Some of the Castrol products launched into the market include Castrol Edge, Castrol Magnatec and Castrol GTX Essential.
