TOTAL E&P NIGERIA GETS NEW MANAGING DIRECTOR
Total E&P Nigeria gets a change in management
The Board of Directors of Total E&P Nigeria have appointed Mr. Mike Sangster as the new Managing Director/Chief Executive of Total E&P Nigeria Ltd (TEPNG). His appointment took effect from July 01, 2019.
Mr. Mike Sangster who is a graduate of Electrical Engineering from the University of Aberdeen, previously held the position of Senior Vice President, Investor Relations of Total. He also has served in the Total Group as the Managing Director of Total E&P Australia; President & General Manager of Total E&P Thailand; Vice President, Economics, Strategy and Planning for Total Exploration & Production; Vice President, Business Development & Strategy for Total E&P USA; and lastly as a Senior International Negotiator.
Before even joining Total Group, Mike Sangster worked as a Corporate Development Manager at Scottish Power. Therefore he could be seen as a very good fit to replace the former Total E&P Nigeria Managing Director, Mr. Nicolas Terraz who is now the Senior Vice President for Africa, for Total’s Exploration and Production branch.
