ZIMBABWE GOVT. TO ESTABLISH E-CLASSROOM IN PRIMARY SCHOOLS

Zimbabwe govt. to partner with FBC Bank for the e-classroom project.

Plans are set in motion for the construction of an e-classroom for primary school in the nation. This was made public by Secretary in the Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education, Mrs Tumisang Thabela.

According to Thabela, it will aim to promote a sustainable computer education programme. With the theme ““Catch them young as we strive for quality education and excellence.”

Speaking to reporters, Thabela said the ministry will partner with FBC Bank. This partnership will bring about the donation of 45 laptops, a standard projector, an interactive board and a white board for the smart classroom.Image result for e-classroom Zimbabwe

Tumisang Thabela said “The Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education has a mandate of preparing learners for the future. And equipping them with necessary skills and knowledge that will help them operate in an increasingly competitive environment.”

The digital learning will help equip learners with competency skills that will contribute to economic industrialisation and transformation according to Thabela.

Meanwhile, no date was announced for the commencement of the project.
