ZIMBABWE PARLIAMENT GIVES GREEN LIGHT FOR AIRPORT PROJECT

Zimbabwe parliament signal approval of the airport construction which will see more passengers and tourist in the nation.

Zimbabwe Parliament has approve the deal for the construction of an airport. It will be worth US$153 million and will also be use to expand Gabriel Mugabe International Airport. The deal was agree between the government and the chinese firm.

Finance and Economic Development Minister Patrick Chinamasa said “We should expect increase passenger and aircraft processing areas through the expansion of the international terminal building.”

The project will further expand the airport which will also see and increase in tourist and visit to the country. It will also provide create job employment for the resident leaving in the area.

Zimbabwe government is monitoring the project with China Eximbank. China Eximbank has already provided US$150 million for the expansion of Victoria Falls International Airport. The airport has seen an increase in tourist arrivals in the resort town since its completion.
