APPOLONIA CITY HOUSING PROJECT SET TO BE CONSTRUCTED IN GHANA
President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo leads appolonia city housing project during groundbreaking ceremony.
The groundbreaking ceremony of the housing project which is set to have about 2000 affordable housing unit has been commission by the President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo of Ghana.
The Appolonia city housing project is expected to help reduce the country’s housing deficit which is in line with the government’s vision of using appropriate mix of public policy and public-private investments so as to deliver quality, affordable social housing and private housing solutions that meet the needs and financial capacity of all citizens.
Ghana President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo; “With a housing deficit over some 1.7 million units, the Appolonia City Project is one of the several initiatives that will be introduced along the housing value chain to achieve a cost effective, efficient and sustainable housing sector,”
According to him; “Contractors working on the building projects should employ and provide training skills to members of the community and that this is a laudable initiative, a model I would encourage others to emulate.”
The 2,325-acre mega project is expected to have a residential, commercial, retail and light industrial developments, as well as social amenities like schools, healthcare and family parks.
Appolonia City is a Rendeavour master planned development, designed to suit the lifestyle of every individuals.
