ONDANGWA AIRPORT IN NAMIBIA UNDERGOES REHABILITATION

Ondangwa airport undergoes repair of broken tiles on the runways.

The Airport broken tiles has been a disgrace from people using it. The problem started two year after the Namibian Airports Company (NAC) revamp the terminal building and the runway. The cost of the revamp was US $7.1m and ever since it was build, the both revamp is having problem.

NAC has set up an independent audit to determine the cause of the airport’s problems. The audit will also help NAC manage the situation at hand. The original plan for the revamp was to improve the services offered at the airport.

NAC spokesperson, Nankelo Amupadhi said “The area cordoned off is simply to warn the traveling public about the tiles that were damaged and need replacement. He also said that anyone walking there does not get injured.”

The airport company has also apologise to travelers for the inconvenience and appeal for patience while they correct the defects. They also want to assure the public that they will make sure all correction are done the right way.

Back in 2015, President Hage Geingob said he expect the terminal to fulfill the our expectations and make us all very proud.
