DR Congo Top Court upholds Tshisekedi presidential election win

Previously, on the election that held in D.R. Congo on Friday. There was a demand for manual recount by Martus Fayulu. meanwhile, to confirm the victory of Felix Tshisekedi at the Constitutional Court.
On Sunday, after undergoing the recount at the Constitutional Court of the Democratic Republic of  Congo . It was confirm that Felix Tshisekedi  the presidential election candidate still won. He also dismisses a challenge from the other opposition leader Martin Fayulu. Who accuse him and the ruling party of striping up the result?

From announcement, Felix Tshisekedi becomes the fifth President of the Democratic of Congo since the independence on 30 June, 1960.

Since 16 January, 2001, the outgoing Head of state Joseph Kabila. Who have been in power since 18 years ago have been succeed by Felix Tshisekedi.

It is observe that since the country’s history, this is the first time that powers have been successfully hand over from one man to another peacefully.

According to the latest calendar of the National Independent Electoral Commission, January 22, Felix Tshisekedi’s, appointed is scheduled for Tuesday.
