CONSTRUCTION OF KENYA’S NEW GIKOMBA MARKET IN PROGRESS
Construction of the new Gikomba market will solve the series of fire incidents.
Gikomba Market has certainly had its fair share of high and low moments in the last few years. Fire outbreak does seem to be a reoccurring plague in the Gikomba Market. Since the last outbreak in February 2019, the construction of the new market has been under a 24 Hr shift. So far, foundation and ground floor level have been completed. It is expected that the new Gikomba market will solve the incessant fire incidents, as the designs have taken precautionary measures.
This is Gikomba market. Running a 24hr shift. Started in December, foundation and floor level done. After many years of promises, phase 1 of the market will be a reality late this year. We have earned the trust of the traders, I hope to also earn your trust on AHP pic.twitter.com/cvuoXkScha
