Mall for Africa expands to 11 new countries in Africa. 

Worldwide e-commerce and m-commerce colossus, Mall for Africa will expand into 11 new countries in Africa. In acknowledgement to the growing demand for its  patented platform, the app will now be available in African countries like Angola, Chad, Guinea, Botswana, Tanzania, Uganda, Malawi, Egypt, Democratic Republic of Congo, Senegal, and Sierra Leone.

The app offers items from 250 US and UK retailers to stores that are not easily accessible to its customers. They offer a simple, secure and convenient solution by managing every order and return cycle.

Customers in countries like Nigeria, Kenya, Ghana, and Rwanda use this platforms and have given go feedback on their services.

According to Statista, global retail e-commerce sales will reach US$4.5 trillion by 2021, a 246.15% increase worldwide from 2014. This is the result of shopper’s looking beyond borders when shopping online especially from overseas retailer.

Last year’s Nielsen’s Connected Commerce report found that online is the favorite shopping destination for some categories, with one-third saying they purchase beauty and personal care online and more than two-thirds purchasing travel products or services online.
